Scottish Scrap Art

In North East Scotland you will find Helen Denerley working diligently on her artwork with a welding torch in one hand and and maybe a hammer or grinder in the other. Scrap metal art isn’t easy work, and it takes style and imagination to conquer steel and mold it into the creation in the minds eye. Helen Denerley has been scrap metal sculpting for over 40 years, and has the commissioned works to prove it. You may find her work in Scotland, England Wales, Japan, China and many other large cities. From small cats to panthers..and hummingbirds to Ravens, you’ll find a wide assortment of animals to gaze at..including her giraffes, located in Edinburgh and more recently Hong Kong.

Helen has worked with other notable artist including John McGeoch.  Helen has worked with many other artist as well, overall she enjoys the artful stimulation of collaborating with others. Helens artful hand drawings and imaginative touch have lead her hands to create some of the most thoughtful and beautiful pieces of scrap art to been shown around the world. From the smallest feline, to the towering Giraffe of Hong Kong.
